 be too shy to talk to you even if they like you, but other guys often will make some sort of attempt. He might not come out and say that he likes you, but if he tries to talk to you often or if he teases you in a good-natured way, he may be flirting.

  Ask a friend to try to gather some information. Your friend could come right and ask the guy if he likes you, or your friend could casually bring up a conversation about pretty girls or dating and see what the guy says

  Watch his body language. If he seems to like to hug you or even merely pat your shoulder or touch your hand or arm briefly, he may be interested in you

  Pay attention to other forms of communication. If a guy is calling, texting or sending you online messages (even if they seem platonic), he probably is interested in you
